Educators Rising is a community-based movement, in which chapters at Maryland middle and high schools feed into teacher preparation programs at institutes of higher education. These experiences give students insight into the many rewards and challenges of becoming a classroom teacher while keeping their passion for teaching alive. This movement provides a clear pathway to increase teacher diversity and teacher quality.
